I have done the things I needed to do. I am now going to print the workout again and see if there is anything else that I need to do.

I have printed my work out and annotated it on paper, I have a number of different things I need to do now.
On my contents page I need to:
1. line up all my pictures.
2. line up the stories with the pictures.
3. make all the page numbers the same size.
4.make my text smaller on the column on the left, and maybe add another story.
5. Move down the column on the left so it lines up with my contents page heading.

On my double page spread I need to:
1. move my text down so the heading has more room
2. add page numbers to the bottom of the page.
3. move my story underneath the heading.

I will post pictures of my work when I have done these things.

 Ive added a fact file down the right side, made the heading bigger and changed some things around.

I've made 'SUBSCREAM' bigger.

Research and Planning: Work so far

I've been working on my magazine, and making small improvements, including text size, lining things up, adding makeup to pictures by drawing it on in photoshop and adding different bits to make my work look more realistic. This is my work so far.

 Since the last pose, I have added more stories down the side and made the red box at the bottom bigger, I have also adjusted the pictures so they lined up perfectly.

 Since the last post, I have finished my writing and added the red writing to grab peoples attention. I still need to improve this by adding something else on the right hand side above the first guy's head, because It looks a little bit plain. 

Since the last post, I have changed the colour of the 'FREE posters inside' sign, and blurred it more to make it look more like a splodge of blood, this looks more rocky. I have also gone over the girls makeup. I just need to use the healing tool to get rid of any blemishes now.

Research & Planning: pictures for my contents page

I took this picture when doing head shots, but I like the photo, so I'm going to use it for my contents page. So it's not obvious it's in college, I'm going to blur the background.

I took these pictures over christmas and I was planning to put them on my contents page. I'm still going to put the top picture on but the bottom one is a little white washed so I'm not going to use that one. The top picture has someone in the background, so I need to crop them out.

For my double page spread I will be using a Serif font, my tutor has advised this so I now need to look for a Serif style font that would go with my magazine.
