Planning & Research: College magazine analysis

For this task we was asked to analyse a college magazine.

I can tell this is a magazine because of it's different features, such as:

• Barcode
• Price
• A main picture
• Headings and subheadings
• Masthead
• Slugline
• Stories 

I can tell this is a college magazine because of the girls clothes on the picture, I can also tell it's a college magazine because of the headings on the page.

On magazines there are usually about 3 main colours that are used. In this image, the magazine has Blue and Red with a Green background, there is also use of black and white on this page. Using a colour pattern is good for magazines because it stands out to the reader and looks a lot more professional.
